Time will Remember
Couatl-blooded confident helpful
Princess Aya is a jade elf with strong blood of the couatl, with warm brown skin, deeper brown hair, & black-gold eyes. Her skin seems to be almost scaled underneath, with gold irridescent ridges, & her eyes are slit like those of a couatl. She can sprout her wings, large & feathered, the color of her skin tinged with light rainbow details. Her hair is wild & held up with sticks, claws, & strands of leather.
She was the first person Romen & Bem encountered when they first awoke, missing important memories of where they were, how they got there, why, & how long. (or who exactly they were).
She told them their names, & gave them some stones, & led them out of the holding place.
At the temple, she activated the three stones to grant them some of their memories back (their identities). While Romen & Bem fought many of the guards back, she called two condors from the sky, & they then went to the palace.
There, they retrieved Bem & Romen’s things, & the two departed Pachakal, leaving Aya behind.
They did not see Aya again until the Return to Pachakal.
While they were in Incus, they were told Pachakal was a villainous city for they ‘stole the Princess Aya’ from us. Rather, Aya had not been fond of the odd caste system in Incus, & run away, having formed a bond with the people in Pachakal & proving her power through her affinity with the feathered serpent guardians of the jungle.
Aya helped Bem & Romen escape because a friend of hers (Lostris) owed Lambanein an enormous favor, & this was her way of paying it back for her. Little did she know Lambanein was dead & the favor need not be repaid.
Only a few of her abilities have been seen from her, among them the scream she unleashed on one of the guards during the Escape from Pachakal.
Princess Aya later helped Romen & Bem prepare for their return to the Ruins of Kho, this time to seek Lambanein.
When Jerrod came to Pachakal shortly after, he offered Aya the magic things of Tibibe. In return, Aya granted him a condor, Omai, with a translating gem. This made his journey to the Ruins of Kho swift indeed.
